College Ministry

Going to college and being a 20-something is a great, but challenging stage in life. The River provides opportunities for UW—River Falls students to hang out, grow in their faith, and have a home away from home.

A major component of this ministry is the “Adopt-A-College Student” program. Interested families at The River “adopt” a student by praying for them, periodically providing home-cooked meals or treats, notes, and care packages.

Special group events include an annual hayride/bonfire, comedy movie nights, final exam “care mugs”, and potlucks.
