Community Ministry

Serving the community and sharing the Good News of Christ in creative ways is a vital part of The River’s ministry in River Falls.

In addition to smaller outreach projects throughout the year, The River is involved with these larger activities:

New Year’s Eve Bash —This is an annual event planned and sponsored by The River as a healthy, family-friendly event for the entire community. Held at River Falls High School, activities include games, food, and recreational fun.

River Falls Days —The River hands out free, cold bottles of water along the parade route before the annual River Falls Days parade in July. We literally offer “a cup of cold water” in Jesus’ name! Adults and children of all ages are able to participate.
