PASTOR Travis Albrecht (Associate Pastor)

Born & grew up in Medford, Wisconsin. Graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Eau Claire, WI in 2001, and Masters in Divinity from Bethel Seminary, Saint Paul, MN in 2005.  Travis & Lisa met while attending UWEC and got married in 2001.  They have two daughters, Brooklyn & Mikayla.

Travis & Lisa got involved with The River shortly after it launched in 2002, while still living in Saint Paul, MN. They helped out with the Youth Group, and Travis served as the Recreation Ministry Team Leader. Travis was added as full-time staff in July 2005 as the Associate Pastor of Administration. His tasks include leading the ministries of Youth, Small Groups, Recreation, and Office Administration. Travis loves the outdoors, sports, and playing with his daughters and Lab. You can usually find him in the woods throughout the year searching after deer, turkey, pheasant, and partridge. He also enjoys playing sports, but his passion for ministry is seeing people transformed through discipleship and new sports & recreation ministries.

Lisa is a part-time English Teacher at Good Shepherd Christian Academy. She also enjoys playing with their daughters, and has hobbies that include Scrap Booking, Reading, & Shopping.
