When Jesus saves his people, he saves us into a new family, his family, the Church.  We are meant to love, encourage, and support, one another. Yet, because there are so many people and we can be in a rush, it’s sometimes hard to build those relationships at a Sunday morning worship gathering. This is where Community Groups come in. We have a discussion based on the previous sermon's Scripture passage, and then we share a meal together. It is an open group and visitors are welcome any time. Seriously, you can just show up!

We currently have three Community Groups at The River. One meets every other Thursday evening, the other two meet every other Sunday evening.
