Join us as we begin a new sermon series in the book of Acts!

We open to Psalm 23 and see how the Lord is our shepherd Who knows us intimately and invites us to know Him.

We look at Psalm 8 and marvel at the majesty of God in Creation, most notably in that He made human beings in His image.

We bring our Genesis series to a close by looking at various passages to bring us from Genesis to Jesus.

We come to the end of Genesis and see how Jacob and Joseph both lived faithfully to the end.

We open to Genesis 49 where Jacob pronounces blessings over his twelve sons and discuss the idea of legacy and how that impacted the respective blessings. This leads us to ask the question: What will be my legacy?

In our passage we see a couple ceremonies taking place between Jacob/Israel and Joseph, including Israel adopting Joseph's sons Ephraim and Manasseh, that relabel Joseph as the firstborn, therefore the inheritor of the double portion.

We discuss Jacob moving the entire family to Egypt, specifically to the area of Goshen and how in this God fulfills once again the promises of land, offspring, and blessing.

We discuss Genesis 45:1-15 when Joseph reveals himself to his brothers and initiates reconciliation with them. We also looked closer at the concepts of forgiveness and reconciliation biblically and how we as Christians are to think about each.

We dig into Genesis 43-44 as the brothers return to Joseph with Judah in the lead with Benjamin. How will Joseph respond to the seemingly changed brothers?

After 20 years, Joseph sees his brothers again as they seek to buy food from him to save their famine-stricken family. But they do not recognize him! How will Joseph respond to seeing his murderous brothers once again?

We open to Joseph, now imprisoned, and follow his lengthy saga of dream interpretation and eventual rise to power.

We open to Genesis 39, picking up on Joseph's story, now serving in Potiphar's house. But when presented with a significant temptation, will Joseph give himself over to sin like his brothers or others who have come before?

We open to Genesis 38 and discuss the scandalous story of Judah and Tamar. But we also see the beginnings of change as Judah is faced with his terrible choices.

We open to Genesis 37 and start into the life of Joseph, favored son of Jacob, shown through the gift of a magnificent robe. But this favoritism breeds hatred among Joseph's brothers, spelling doom for him...

We look at Esau's life and family and explore the idea of being successful but not having God.

We look back and review what we've seen in the book of Genesis so far in the first 35 chapters. We see characters, themes, but most importantly an incredible, faithful God.

We conclude Ephesians with a study of the final passage and salutation from Paul, looking at what it means to be faithful and the importance of grace, peace, and love.

We dive into the famous Armor of God passage and discuss the invisible, spiritual war that believers are fighting, whether they know it or not.

We dive into Ephesians 6:5-9 and look at what the Bible has to say about the relationship between employers and employees who are in Christ.
